New Golf Professional

It is with great enthusiasm that we write you today to announce Justin Collins as the new Head Golf Professional at South­pointe Golf Club.
Justin Collins grew up in Ironton, Ohio, where he led his high school golf team to three state championships.
Justin received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ohio State University where he was a four-year letterman on the Men’s Golf Team and two-time Team Captain.
 
Before joining the Southpointe Golf Club team, Justin held Head Golf Professional roles at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (2017 - 2018) and Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, WV from 2011 - 2016. His years as an assistant were spent at Scioto Country Club, Toledo Country Club and Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida.
 
Justin has been a PGA member since 2011 and has enjoyed some success recently as he was the 2017 TriState PGA Section Champion as well as the 2017 Tri-State PGA Section Match Play champion. In 2018, Justin qualified for the Professional National Championship. Justin enjoys both teaching and play­ing golf as well as spending time with his young family. Justin and his wife, Emily have a two-year-old son Benjamin and are expecting another little boy in February!
 
Justin will begin his Head Golf Professional position at South­pointe Golf Club on March 1, 2019 but you may see him period­ically throughout February. Please join us in welcoming Justin to his new home at Southpointe Golf Club!
